A Message from the Board of Directors

This year has seen Heartland House maintain a high standard of excellence in helping men in our region to achieve sustained sobriety. The Heartland House team continues to provide quality, person-centered care that is tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each individual client. The effectiveness of the team’s efforts is thoroughly tracked, and the results are outstanding. A review of Heartland House clients this year indicates that 65% successfully transitioned from treatment to a lower level of care; and 80% of those clients who transitioned to our sober living facility remained sober at least sixteen months. And while these are lofty numbers, the Heartland House team carefully and continually assesses our performance and adjusts our practices, knowing that we work in an ever-changing environment and that there is always room to improve. This e-newsletter includes a copy of our Heartland House brochure that describes in detail our programs, qualifications and – most importantly – our commitment to the recovery of every client from the dangerous and pervasive illnesses of substance use and its accompanying disorders. We have a story of hope and success to tell, and we are pleased to share it with you.

To help Heartland House keep thriving, we ask that you keep us in mind in your plans for giving this year; and that you save the date of March 29, 2025 for our annual Heartland House Gala. To donate to the House, please visit

With heartfelt gratitude, Heartland House wishes our friends and supporters a blessed holiday season and a happy and prosperous New Year.
