I hope that you’re enjoying the blessed time of renewal that is Spring. Your support makes the House a thriving place of renewal throughout the year for men in recovery, and we are truly grateful to each of you.
Early 2026 has seen us continue to grow, both in our physical capacity and the array of tools at our disposal for helping clients transform themselves into clean, sober and productive individuals. See the From the House section for details on what’s happening on site.
I’m using my space to convey my thanks and congratulations to everyone who made the 64th Heartland House Gala a huge success. We enjoyed fine music, excellent food and poignant messages of experience, strength and hope from people who have been served by Heartland House. What better way to celebrate the stellar achievements of one of San Diego’s oldest and most respected places of recovery than hearing directly from those whom the House has touched in life-changing ways?
Thanks to our staff for planning and running the gala with the same “can do” spirit and teamwork that make them so prolific in their everyday work; and to my fellow board members for their active presence before and at the event. And most of all, heartfelt thanks to every one of you, the House’s friends, who celebrated with us or donated to our cause. Please continue supporting the House on our mission. Our future depends upon you.
