For those who weren’t able to join us at our recent 64th Annual Gala, we want to share some bittersweet but exciting news about a transition in our program leadership:

A Heartfelt Farewell to Lafitte Banville

After 17 years of deeply dedicated service, our Program Manager, Lafitte Banville, is moving on to his next adventure in the great state of Tennessee.

Lafitte is fondly known by clients and staff alike as one of the true “hearts” of Heartland House. Throughout his nearly two decades with us, his impact has been profound. Lafitte was an integral force in shifting Heartland House to a non-timebound treatment model, allowing clients the space they truly need to heal. He championed this transition while ensuring our facility consistently delivered the highest quality of clinical care.

Lafitte will be deeply missed by the entire community. We are incredibly grateful for everything he has given to our organization, and we wish him the absolute best that life has to offer in this next chapter of his life.

Welcoming Our New Program Manager: Curtis Quay, JD, SUDCC IV

While it is hard to say goodbye, we are incredibly proud and excited to announce that Curtis Quay is stepping into the role of Program Manager.

Curtis is already a deeply trusted part of the Heartland House family, having served our community since June of 2019. He brings a powerful combination of skills and heart to this leadership role. Curtis has a proven track record in recovery and treatment, blending a highly professional presence with deep clinical knowledge. Known for his compassion and empathy, Curtis is also a forward-thinking leader. His eagerness to explore and adopt cutting-edge treatment modalities and technology helps us continually bridge the gap between despair and hope.

Under Curtis’s leadership, we look forward to expanding on our mission and continuing to elevate the lives of the men we touch.

Please join us in thanking Lafitte for his years of incredible service and congratulating Curtis on his new role!
